At Parivartan, we believe that some of the most meaningful healing happens when individuals connect with others who have walked similar paths. Our Peer Support Group provides a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental space for persons with mental illness and their caregivers to share experiences, learn from one another, and build a sense of belonging.

A Space for Shared Understanding
Participants have the opportunity to openly discuss their journeys, challenges, and successes with others who truly understand. This shared lived experience often reduces feelings of isolation and stigma.
Mutual Support and Empowerment
The group encourages active participation, where members both receive and offer support. This fosters confidence, self-efficacy, and a sense of empowerment in managing one’s mental health.
Guided yet Participant-Centered
While sessions may be facilitated by trained professionals or volunteers, the focus remains on peer interaction and collective growth rather than formal clinical intervention.
Support for Caregivers
Recognizing the crucial role of families, our peer groups also provide a platform for caregivers to share coping strategies, emotional experiences, and practical solutions.
Promoting Recovery and Hope
Hearing stories of resilience and recovery can be deeply motivating. The group nurtures hope and reinforces the possibility of leading meaningful and fulfilling lives despite mental health challenges.
